Singapore Permanent Residency (SPR) is a permanent visa that permits foreigners to stay in Singapore legally without any visa restrictions.

Overview

As a Singapore Permanent Resident, you will have the privilege to freely move in and out of Singapore and do not have to re-apply a work visa every time you change an employer. You can also invest freely, secure admission into subsidized government educational institution and gain financial benefits in the form of employer’s contributions to your pension funds (CPF). In addition, you can also apply Singapore Permanent Resident for your spouse, children and parents.

Eligibility

The following are eligible for Singapore Permanent Resident Visa

• Foreign professionals who are holding on to an Employment Pass, Personalized Employment Pass, EntrePass, S-Pass
• Spouse and unmarried children (below 21 years old) of Singapore Permanent Resident holders / Singapore Citizens
• Aged Parents of a Singapore Citizen
• Foreign investors/entrepreneurs who are willing to invest $2.5 million in Singapore and with solid business background
• Foreign investors willing to invest $10 million in Singapore with $20 million Net Asset

Documents required

Below is a list of documents required for Skilled Migration Permanent Resident: - 

• Completed Form 4A (1 copy with original signature)
• 2 passport photo with each of the following formats
• Current Employer’s information (Annex A) to be duly completed-  
• 1 CLEAR copy of applicant’s passport particulars / bio-data page with at least 7 months of validity
